Walailak University Holds Workshop with Four University Committees to Gather Input for the University Strategic Development Plan 2028–2032

Walailak University organized a workshop with four university committees during 20–21 May 2026 at Walailak University, Tha Sala District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. The workshop aimed to gather opinions, recommendations, and policy directions for the preparation of the Walailak University Strategic Development Plan 2028–2032.
 
The activity was attended by four university committees, namely the Human Resource Management Committee, the Finance and Property Committee, the University Performance Monitoring and Evaluation Committee, and the Risk Management Oversight Committee. External experts and Walailak University executives also participated in exchanging views on key issues related to the university’s future development direction. 

 

On 20 May 2026, a joint meeting of the four committees was held at Moklan Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Kachatharn Building. The meeting focused on discussions regarding operational directions and policy recommendations relevant to the university’s development. The participants also visited several important areas within the university, including WU Park, the Botanical Park, Tumpang Pond, Walailak University Farm, the University Stadium, the Science and Technology Park, Walailak University Demonstration School, Walailak University Medical Center, and areas related to the university’s energy and infrastructure development.

 

On 21 May 2026, the workshop was held at Suralak Meeting Room, Natural History Museum Building, Theparat Rajasuda. The session emphasized brainstorming and exchanging ideas among committee members, external experts, and university executives. The input obtained from the workshop will be used to support the preparation of the Walailak University Strategic Development Plan 2028–2032, ensuring that the plan is comprehensive, well-rounded, and aligned with the changing context of higher education in the future.

 

This workshop represents an important process in defining Walailak University’s development direction for the next five years. It reflects the university’s commitment to promoting participatory planning among university committees and relevant stakeholders, with the aim of advancing academic excellence, effective administration, and sustainable institutional development.
