5 Researchers from Walailak University Ranked in the Top 2 Percent Worldwide for 2023

Researchers from Walailak University have been ranked among the world’s leading scientists in the “World’s Top 2% Scientists” list for 2023, as ranked by Stanford University. Two researchers were listed in the category of career-long citation impact, while five researchers were ranked for citation impact specifically for the year 2023.
On October 4, 2023, Elsevier and Stanford University, leading institutions in global research, announced the list of researchers with the highest citation impact. Walailak University had five researchers ranked in the Top 2% worldwide, as follows:
– Career-Long Citation Impact (2 Researchers):
1. Associate Professor Dr. Manat Chaiyanan, School of Agricultural Technology and Food Industry, in the field of Food Science.
2. Associate Professor Dr. Weeranuch Nisapathorn, School of Allied Health Sciences, in the field of Tropical Medicine.
– Citation Impact for the Year 2023 (5 Researchers):
1. Associate Professor Dr. Manat Chaiyanan, School of Agricultural Technology and Food Industry, in the field of Food Science.
2. Associate Professor Dr. Nattawit Watthanasukkulphong, School of Engineering and Technology, in the field of Materials.
3. Associate Professor Dr. Manat Kotphu, School of Allied Health Sciences, in the field of Tropical Medicine.
4. Assistant Professor Dr. MD H. Rashed Elahi, School of Engineering and Technology, in the field of Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
5. Associate Professor Dr. Weeranuch Nisapathorn, School of Allied Health Sciences, in the field of Tropical Medicine.
Walailak University researchers have achieved this recognition for three consecutive years, including Associate Professor Dr. Manat Chaiyanan, School of Agricultural Technology and Food Industry; Associate Professor Dr. Nattawit Watthanasukkulphong, School of Engineering and Technology; and Associate Professor Dr. Weeranuch Nisapathorn, School of Allied Health Sciences.”
