The Planning and Strategy Division of Walailak University, through the Performance Monitoring and Evaluation Office, organized the first annual performance review meeting for the fiscal year 2024 from June 10 to 12, 2024. The meeting took place at the Patthamaporn Conference Room, 9th Floor, Building C, Walailak University Medical Center. The event was attended by executives from all 47 university departments, along with senior university administrators and working teams.

The purpose of this meeting was to allow each department to report on their performance over the past eight months, providing the administration with an update. The meeting also aimed to facilitate learning and exchange of suggestions and solutions for issues identified during the performance period. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suwit Wuttisuthimethawee provided an initial summary of performance results based on strategic indicators for the half-year period. Following this, the President of the University officially opened the meeting and presentations began by different groups: academic departments, centers-institutes, and administrative units.

This activity is scheduled to occur twice a year, with the second meeting planned for September 16-18, 2024, to report on performance for the next ten-month period.
