Walailak University, through the Planning and Strategy Division, organized a workshop seminar titled “Strategies for Driving Walailak University’s Policies and Strategic Plans into Action” for the Fiscal Year 2025. The seminar was held from October 31 to November 2, 2024, at Racha Kiri Resort & Spa, Khanom District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province.

The objective of the seminar was to provide a platform for all university departments to present their strategies and operational approaches in response to the university’s policies and strategic directions for the fiscal year. It also aimed to foster learning and collaboration among departments to effectively drive the university’s strategic indicators toward achieving the goals outlined in the strategic plan. Additionally, the seminar served to strengthen relationships between senior executives and department-level administrators.

A total of 83 participants attended the seminar, including the President (Professor Dr. Sombat Thamrongthanyawong), Vice Presidents, Assistant Vice Presidents, department heads or their representatives, and support teams. The seminar featured the following key activities:

1. Policy briefing on university and departmental development by the President
2. Team-building activity (Walk Rally) among Vice Presidents, Assistant Vice Presidents, and department administrators
3. Presentation of strategic operational plans by department administrators
4. Presentation of monitoring strategies for departments under the supervision of Vice Presidents and Assistant Vice Presidents
