Training on Recording Performance Results in the E-Report System for the Fiscal Year 2024
On Monday, January 8, 2024, from 13:30 to 16:30, in rooms E-testing 3 and 4, Digital Center Building, the Performance Monitoring and Evaluation Office of the Planning and Strategy Division organized training on recording performance results in the E-Report System for the fiscal year 2024. The purpose of this training is to ensure that units understand and can correctly record data going forward.
Background/Need for the Activity: The need for this training arose from the Planning Division’s review of last year’s performance reporting. It was found that reports were often delayed and not submitted within the required time frame. Issues included incomplete reporting and inconsistent formats, such as reporting only 8 out of 10 indicators, inconsistent reporting of satisfaction percentages (some units reported quarterly, while others reported annually), and insufficient details in activity summaries (e.g., only stating that activities were completed without specific details). Additionally, there were frequent queries about accessing the WU E-Report system for recording results at the end of each quarter, and changes in personnel responsible for reporting.
It is crucial for the Planning Division to provide accurate and complete data from performance reports and strategic indicators to external agencies, including:
- EV-Mis System of the Bureau of Budget
- Budget-U System of the Office of the Permanent Secretary for Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation
- EMENSCR System of the National Economic and Social Development Council
- Reports on issues related to the President’s management policies
- Reports to the Strategy Implementation Committee, the Performance Monitoring and Evaluation Committee, and the University Council (regarding strategic indicators)
- Reports on various issues requested by external agencies
Thus, the training on using and exchanging knowledge about the WU E-Report System for the fiscal year 2024 was organized.
